After a hectic 2011 performance season, Groovy Afternoon
is completing a new album of audience favorites from their live show and
a few new classics too. We expect the CD to be available for their July

Groovy Afternoon presents - Trip In' Time
Cotuit Center for the Arts
2nd Annual “Happening” with Groovy Afternoon
“Trip In’ Time” is a theatrical road trip back to the Woodstock era, journeying across America with Groovy Afternoon through the iconic songs of the period from its most legendary artists. Using multimedia, theatrical elements and hard rocking flower power, the group will bring a dose of drama to the concert to transport their audience right back to the time of Peace Love and Music.
The group has invited a tribe of their groovy pals to join in the celebration by presenting a large Happening prior to the show reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s Factory events or Ken Kesey’s Acid Tests which will cover the grounds of the Cotuit Center.
An experience not to be missed….especially if you missed the 60s
the first time!
